GLOBAL EPIDEMICS AND ASTRONOMY STUDY, APRIL 2019-JULY 2024

In an effort to address the need for research on current epidemic diseases included in the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 2018 Annual Review of Research and Development Blueprint, a theoretical analysis was conducted to find a correlation between the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory of diseases and astronomical patterns. This study correlates symptoms exhibited in Crimean–Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), Ebola Virus, Zika Virus, Lassa Fever, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), and Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) with astronomic activity in order to facilitate preparation for future outbreaks. In addition to this list and in light of recent developments, this study is being reworked to include findings associated with Mpox outbreaks between 2022-2024.
