Yazmin Valdés, DAOM, LAc
Yazmin Valdes is Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with over 14 years experience in the natural medicine field.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida with a background in the arts, Yazmin developed a passion for the medicine arts which led her into practicing and learning with doctors and masters from all over the world. She stands strong in the understanding that all things in nature have exponential medicinal value and has worked in multiple cross-disciplinary settings that embrace allopathic and traditional medicine practices. She’s experienced with preventive/primary care and pain relief and has dedicated independent research since 2013, specializing in Five Element Medicine and climate health impact through direct practice and observational research since 2018 as a contribution to preventive global medicine.
Yazmin has been a teacher of Eastern philosophy and therapy and some of her formative achievements include Incan Q’ero indigenous medicine rites of passage (2010) and 9th Generation Usui Reiki Mastery (2012). She’s earned a Blue Sash in the martial art of Kung Fu (2012), Bachelor of Health Sciences (2015), and 200RYT Yoga Instructor Certification (2018). Currently, she’s is a licensed acupuncturist and independent researcher holding a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 2020. Her goals, practices, and efforts are rooted in traditional humanitarian values
